Hello all - I am sitting out on our front porch, rocking in my chair (yet more proof I've turned native here in the south.) and it is probably only 80 degrees out tonight. Can I just say that I feel as if I've stepped into an alternate universe when a stuffy 80 degrees feels like a glass of cold water poored on my head. However - thought you'd enjoy these pictures of Ellie and KJ we took tonight while enjoying the abilty to run around outside for a bit without sweating their body weight (poor KJ, he's a sweater, just like his father). Also, you can see first hand how good KJ is getting on his feet. He'll be walking for years to come.
God bless,

Greeting to all! Aside from the brutal Alabama summer heat things have been incredible here. Last weekend Paula and I were able to go to Mississippi for a weekend while KJ and Ellie stayed with Paula's wonderful family. We had a great time - I was there to officiate a wedding in the brutal Mississippi summer heat...the wedding was outdoors which meant that I was able to sweat off a few pounds there at the altar. In other news, KJ is a master of the walk and Ellie is a master of language finding new words and new ways to use them daily. We hope everyone is having a great summer! God bless,
Kellen, Paula, KJ and Ellie

You saw it here first (unless you've already seen KJ doing it in person) KJ is now an official walker who can go an entire day without crawling!!!!!!! Here he is in action - no pigeon toes, no missing toes, no crooked walk, just good old fashion stepping. Too exciting! On top of that there are a lot of things that are very exciting happening - the kids got a new play set in the back yard, I crafter a garden complete with gravel path for Paula for mom's day and I was able to speak at church on Sunday. Things have been bumping. I hope everyone is doing well and having a great summer so far. God bless,

Yesterday Paula and I went downtown to take a few pictures and had an absolute great time. I couldn't love her any more. Here are a few of my favorites. Hope everyone is well. God bless,

Hello - It's been awhile since the last update due to the hectic schedule we've been keeping these past few weeks. But alas, all is well in the 'HAM. Ellie has spent the last few weeks on a coloring binge - wanting to color everything she knows how to color. She's a little artist in the making - her favorite thing to color is Da-da. KJ is still bear crawling around rather than the more traditional walking method. He's showed that he can walk, but still prefers the four limb aproach to personal transport. Here are some picture's from recent exploits including a few from the other night with Paula's sisters in the backyard. We pray you are all well! God bless,

We are back from the beach but here are a few more that I really liked from the trip. Another cool thing is that Ellie will be on the cover up the upcoming "ROSEMARY THYMES" this may. They saw the picture of Ellie in front of the green door and wanted it as their cover - too cool. There are also a few of Mark and Jill Pettus' pregnancy shots we took at the beach...they were at Seaside when we were at Rosemary - two great people! enjoy.

This is our last day at Rosemary Beach - we had an absolute blast and Ellie is not quite ready to go I think. You can see KJ here having some fun in the fountains last night - may have been the time of his life, he even took a fountain shot to the face and kept on going strong. The weather has been great and the last few days have been so relaxing. Here are some more pictures from the beach. God bless.
